CONSULTANT – GENERAL MEDICINE FOR MEDICAL SPECIALTIES DEPARTMENT

Educational Requirements: üGraduate from a medical school recognized by Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS)
*  Successful completion of Sub Specialty Fellowship training recognized by SCHS for Consultant Position
* Certification by the appropriate specialty board recognized by SCHS
1 or more years of specialty training in a recognized program outside Saudi Arabia
* Training and post certification experience, equal to or greater than six (6) years in a health care facility
* Independent practice in the specialty
* Candidate should meet the SCHS criteria for a consultant post within one (1) year of application
* Specialty Training and post certification experience equal to greater than 4 years

* Experience: ü3 years working experience in Sub Specialty area

* Training: ü1 year of internship in a recognized training program

* Completed the residency training and hold the Saudi Board certificate or it’s equivalent (e.g. Arab Board, American Board, Canadian Board)
* Sub-Specialty fellowship training in the related sub-specialty from a recognized training programming .
